Learning Manifesto reflection

Now that four months have passed since writing my learning manifesto, I can reflect on how my passion for teaching has continued to flourish despite obstacles and how technology can transform education. Furthermore, this reflection has allowed me to identify the limitations of my study process and look for new ways of teaching and learning. This has led me to discover the importance of adaptation in education and the need to embrace technology and develop the skills demanded by the reality in which we live, being able to verify the tremendous transformative power that digital learning has. Furthermore, definitely through the COVA and CSLE approach in my master's degree in applied digital learning has definitely marked a super important turning point for my development as a student and as an education professional since it has allowed me to be a protagonist in the creation of learning experiences more personalized, authentic and collaborative that promote a growth mindset and the construction of knowledge.

However, it is essential to recognize that not everything is perfect since institutional resistance to change, inequalities in access to technology, and the need for continuous professional development for educators are some obstacles that are immersed in our reality. To address these inequalities, we can advocate for more funding for technology in schools, promote community initiatives to provide access to technology for all students, and encourage the development of low-cost or free educational resources. However, with optimism and determination among all educational actors, these challenges can be overcome and create a brighter academic future. Given the above, I continue to make a call to action, inviting all my fellow teachers to embrace technology, leave the paradigm of the traditional educational system, adopt innovative approaches to teaching and learning, promote the growth mindset, and create significant learning, to contribute to the transformation of education, remembering that the teaching process is not only about transmitting information but about lighting a spark in students, empowering them to reach their maximum potential and preparing them to become leaders who contribute to a better world.
