Impact of the Growth Mindset




Before deciding to register for this master's degree, I asked myself how to find a way of learning to develop and integrate technology in a didactic way within the classroom since we have many tools. However, sometimes out of ignorance or fear of making mistakes, we do not use the tools appropriately, creating a limitation in teaching. Moreover, during that process of thinking about whether or not to sign up for various factors, I thought…. I think it is the opportunity of a lifetime; I need to be updated on the paths to try to modify the naturalized practices in the teaching role and be able to incorporate new perspectives. I made the decision, and my main objective in developing my studies will be to learn to build meaningful learning from a more dynamic, flexible position in which everyone can participate. 


After reviewing ''Mindset, the New Psychology Of Success'' written by Carol S Dweck, and the videos. I have discovered aspects that I did not know were important in my growth as a teacher. I want to develop a growth mindset in all aspects of my life by believing that everything can be achieved with effort, practice, and perseverance. To this, I apply an analogy: if you fall, the most important thing is to get up and see the positive side of that fall. I also have the philosophy that we cannot know if something is good if we do not try to know it; in such a way, My mind is open to changes. I try to try the unknown, even more so when I know that many have succeeded through that path.


Regarding my opinion on the growth mindset about the integration of technology and UDL/Personalized Learning infographics, it is excellent because it helps us enhance the development of each student's skills through the motivation of the teacher, taking into account that each student has different needs, interests, and learning styles. The contents can be adapted through technology integration, using active methodology that allows each student to learn and progress at their own pace in a more dynamic and personalized environment where the challenge becomes an opportunity to learn.
